Senior Security Engineer needed to secure cloud infrastructure and GovTech applications for xxllnc in Amsterdam. Requires experience in AWS and Kubernetes security, application and cloud security, vulnerability management, IAM, and CI/CD pipeline security. Hybrid role with high autonomy and ownership.

What you'll do

Enhance and assess the security of Cloud and Kubernetes environments
Design secure-by-default architecture and represent Security on the Architecture Board
Define secure-by-default guardrails within CI/CD pipelines and core systems
Partner with the Security team to deliver self-service tooling
Configure and optimize centralized tooling to detect, report, and automatically remediate vulnerabilities
Design, manage, and mature the SIEM landscape
Define and enforce IAM frameworks and RBAC policies
Work with developers, cloud engineers, and compliance teams to elevate security standards
Participate in security risk assessments and help interpret complex vulnerabilities
