Geospatial Data Engineer (Mosaic Datasets, Tiling Schemes, ArcPy) for NATO with security clearance
A multinational defence organisation in The Hague seeks a Geospatial Data Engineer to manage a large estate of geospatial data on-premises and in the cloud. The role requires at least two years of geospatial data management and ESRI ArcGIS Pro experience, including mosaic datasets, and offers follow-on years in an international GIS team.
What you'll do
- Organising and maintaining geospatial datasets, metadata, geodatabases and spatial repositories
- Running ingestion, transformation, validation and quality checks, and keeping versions and integrity under control
- Supporting the GIS platforms on premises and in the cloud - backups, documentation, obsolescence and day-to-day fixes - with the IT colleagues who run them
