Mandatory Internship Overall Aircraft Design (all genders)
VÆRIDION is seeking an Overall Aircraft Design Intern to join its Central Engineering team in Delft. The intern will support the analysis and comparison of battery-electric aircraft concepts, develop computational tools for aircraft sizing and mission analysis, and contribute to the design process of the world's first electric nine-seater aircraft. Candidates must be enrolled in a Master's programme in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable field, hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, and have excellent programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
What you'll do
- Support the analysis and comparison of battery-electric aircraft concepts across different configurations and mission profiles.
- Investigate how technology assumptions and key design parameters influence aircraft performance, energy demand, and overall feasibility.
- Develop and adapt computational tools to support aircraft sizing, mission analysis, and design trade-off studies.
