Tellent is hiring a Senior Backend Product Engineer (Elixir) for its Intelligence team in Amsterdam, working hybrid or remote. The role involves building AI-powered features into mature products, owning problems end to end, and collaborating across backend, frontend, design, QA, and DevOps. Requires commercial Elixir experience or strong backend experience in Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, or PHP with motivation to learn Elixir.
What you'll do
- Building AI-powered features into mature products with real users, not a greenfield demo.
- Working across the stack when the problem demands it (80/20 rule: mostly backend, comfortable following a problem into the frontend).
- Take ownership of the features you deliver, ensuring they are well-tested, maintainable, and meet our quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with Backend and Frontend Engineers, Design, QA, and DevOps to solve complex problems and deliver valuable product improvements.
