TBAuctions is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to head its ML & AI team and platform, combining hands-on technical work with leadership. The role involves architecting end-to-end ML systems, leading a team, and requires 7+ years in ML engineering including 2 years leading technical direction.

What you'll do

Own the architecture of ML & AI systems end to end: data pipelines, feature and model stores, training and serving infrastructure
Design the architecture and orchestration of the AI agents platform with evaluation, monitoring and guardrails
Strengthen and contribute to MLOps setup: automated training, validation, deployment, monitoring, experiment tracking and CI/CD
Design and build recommendation, search and ranking systems end to end
Deploy models as robust APIs and scalable microservices, containerized and orchestrated with Kubernetes
Design systems, write and review code, and raise the bar on engineering best practices
Identify and prioritize highest-impact opportunities, set and own the ML & AI roadmap
Frame business problems as ML tasks, define business metrics, and run rigorous experiments (A/B tests)
Drive continuous improvement of ML & AI products
Work closely with product managers and other tech leads to align priorities
Manage business stakeholders and align them on priorities, scope and trade-offs
Lead, mentor, hire and grow a team of ML engineers
