What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
Contribute to distributed system architecture, including service boundaries, data flows, asynchronous processing, and fault tolerance.
Design and optimize relational data models, queries, and persistence layers for performance and integrity.
Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems, cloud services, and external APIs.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into clear technical designs and delivered capabilities.
Own backend features through design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.
Apply secure coding practices, authentication and authorization controls, and sound API design to protect customer data and services.
Improve service reliability through observability, performance tuning, automated testing, and effective incident investigation.
Lead technical discussions, review code, and help make architectural decisions that support long-term maintainability and scale.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers and encourage practical, responsible use of AI-assisted development tools.
