Senior Product Manager, Sovereign & Hybrid Deployments
Planet is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Sovereign & Hybrid Deployments to drive the productization of its platform for isolated, air-gapped, and hybrid environments. The role bridges enterprise customer delivery and core engineering, requiring 6+ years of technical product management experience with hybrid cloud and complex infrastructure products. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Haarlem, Berlin, or Ljubljana, with 3 days per week in the office.
What you'll do
- Conduct deep-dive discovery with high-security enterprise and government stakeholders to understand their operational realities, using those insights to set clear, defensible product priorities.
- Define and structure the explicit, phased customer journey framework—establishing the operational models, readiness criteria, and governance standards for initial platform installation, joint-operations training, and the final transition into fully autonomous, customer-operated environments with zero or limited vendor access.
- Translate customer operational and security requirements into clear technical specifications for Core Infrastructure and Engineering teams with detail-oriented accuracy. Synthesizes underlying commonalities across clients who describe similar operational needs using different language, preventing costly, redundant engineering effort.
