Packsize is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join its accounting team in Amsterdam. The internship offers hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Reporting, and Fixed Asset accounting, ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

What you'll do

Gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced accounting team members
Contribute to operational and reporting activities with increasing responsibility over time
Assist in processing supplier invoices, verifying approvals, and supporting payment runs
Help with issuing customer invoices and tracking incoming payments
Maintain accurate and organized records of payables and receivables
Support journal entry preparation and general ledger account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close tasks, such as accruals and reporting schedules
Help update and maintain the fixed asset register
Assist with depreciation calculations and asset tracking processes
Support asset inventory reviews and reconciliations
Help maintain orderly filing and document control for audits and compliance
Participate in ad hoc accounting projects and process documentation initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed to support accounting activities
