Internship in the Global Statistics and Data Management (GSTDM) department of a large multinational pharmaceutical company in Boxmeer, the Netherlands. The intern will independently analyze datasets from (pre-)clinical studies, support study design and data cleaning, and report findings using statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python. Candidates should be enrolled in a master's program in statistics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, or a related field and be available for 6 months, 4-5 days per week.

What you'll do

Collaborate with researchers on the study design and analysis of their experiments and interpret results
Assist in analyzing animal-level data
Utilize statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, or Python) to perform data analysis and visualization
Conduct literature reviews to support research findings and methodologies
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing statistical analyses and findings
Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on research strategies
Manage daily deliverables and give a final presentation internally before finishing the internship
Provide a fresh perspective to the department by sharing opinion, knowledge and ideas
