Milence is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to help design, build, test and operate the software behind its heavy-duty transport charging platform. The role involves working on cloud back-end services, APIs, web applications and data integrations using TypeScript, Node.js and React, with at least 2+ years of relevant experience required.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain asynchronous, event-driven services using TypeScript and Node.js.
Build and maintain APIs and integrations using established architecture patterns.
Develop React or comparable front-end components that connect seamlessly with back-end services.
Implement database schemas, queries and data flows within agreed designs.
Apply security, privacy and data-protection principles throughout development, testing and production.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring and logging.
Work with containerised and serverless deployments.
Support incident analysis and implement improvements that increase the reliability and maintainability of our services.
Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues across Product, Data, Technology and Software Engineering.
