Marktplaats is seeking a Business Analytics Manager to lead its Business Analytics team within the Data team, reporting to the Head of Data. The role involves turning marketplace data into commercial decisions, partnering with business teams, and requires 8+ years of commercially focused analytics experience including 3 years managing data analysts.

What you'll do

Partner with business teams to turn strategic goals, KPIs, and assumptions into a prioritized analytics roadmap.
Surface data-backed growth opportunities and support planning with measurable commercial recommendations.
Convert complex analysis into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Build self-service capability and trusted advisory relationships with business teams.
Lead and develop Data Analysts while setting priorities, quality standards, and deliverables.
Promote an organization-wide culture of insight-led decision-making.
Ensure analytics is reliable through strong knowledge of data sources, flows, dashboard logic, and assumptions.
Align data requirements and roadmap priorities with Analytics Engineering and commercial needs.
Lead market and competitor intelligence by combining internal performance data with external benchmarks.
Deliver regular, prioritized competitive insights through dashboards, updates, and executive briefings.
