Luscii is seeking an Android Developer to build and improve mobile applications for digital healthcare, including the Luscii Thuismeten app and OMRON Connect. The role combines hands-on Kotlin development with technical ownership, requiring at least five years of Android or mobile development experience and extensive Kotlin expertise. The position is remote-first within the Netherlands with monthly in-person team days.

What you'll do

Develop and optimise Android applications in Kotlin, with a focus on performance, stability and user experience.
Shape mobile architecture and technical solutions, applying sound software design principles and patterns.
Build prototypes and proof of concepts to explore ideas and validate technical approaches early.
Develop features that communicate with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices.
Investigate and resolve production issues, using debugging and performance analysis to keep our apps reliable.
Review code, share technical guidelines and collaborate with development, QA and support colleagues.
Explore relevant developments in mobile technology, including Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Multiplatform, and recommend improvements where they add value.
