Lely seeks a Team Lead Data Scientist to guide the Data Science & AI team in creating sustainable dairy farming solutions. The role involves leading a team of data scientists, driving AI strategy, and collaborating across business teams. Requires 5+ years of experience in Data Science & AI, leadership skills, and a quantitative Master's degree.

What you'll do

Lead, grow and develop the Data Science & AI team within Data&AI
Give direction and provide input for the integrated product roadmap by collaborating with other Data & AI leads and Business Teams
Take multi-disciplinary responsibility as part of the Product Development Leadership team and the Data & AI MT
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and data science partner company
Bring technical and soft skills of the Data Science & AI team to a higher level and increase impact and adoption in Business Teams
Set direction for evolving Data & AI infrastructure (together with Data Engineering)
Drive growth of AI knowledge and development within and outside the Data & AI Competence
Shape Data Science & AI strategy: where to invest, which technologies to adopt, what to build or procure
