Laterite is seeking a Developer to join its Analytics team in Amsterdam, building AI-driven applications and software solutions for social impact. The role involves full-stack development, LLM applications, data handling, and collaboration with research teams across Africa and Latin America. Candidates should have up to 2 years of experience or be recent graduates with strong Python and AI skills.

What you'll do

Develop and implement AI-driven applications and software solutions for social impact
Build knowledge hub web platforms integrating automated data curation pipelines with knowledge graphs, RAG, and LLM agents
Develop AI applications to automate research tasks such as transcription, translation, data analysis, and survey development
Support the build of an external website to host AI-powered research applications
Develop AI-powered applications for rapid data collection via WhatsApp
Test LLM pipelines or fine-tuned models for generative data augmentation and evaluation
Implement and refine data scraping techniques to build and calibrate models within Google Earth Engine
Collaborate with senior research and management teams
Work in a small development team, wearing many hats across the technology stack
