Kyndryl is seeking a Python & API Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure backend services and REST APIs. The role requires 4–8 years of backend development experience with strong hands-on Python and API skills, working in a hybrid environment in North Holland, Netherlands.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python.
Build scalable APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.
Develop request/response models and validation using Pydantic.
Design and maintain API specifications using OpenAPI / Swagger.
Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and related security mechanisms.
Integrate APIs with databases, downstream applications, and external services.
Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and exception management.
Develop asynchronous and high-performance Python services where required.
Write unit and integration tests using pytest.
Perform code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
Support CI/CD, application deployments, troubleshooting, and production support.
