Kyndryl is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to transform AI best practices into standardized platform services, SDKs, templates, and governance patterns for scalable, secure, and compliant AI solutions. The role requires strong platform engineering, AI/ML operationalization, and cloud-native design experience, with hands-on expertise in Azure, Azure DevOps, Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

What you'll do

Define and maintain AI architecture standards and reference architectures in line with enterprise guidelines for monitoring, networking, security-by-design, privacy, and auditability.
Prototype emerging AI implementation patterns and translate them into standardized, reusable enterprise platform services.
Design and develop shared AI capabilities, cross-cutting concerns (e.g., observability, access management), SDKs, templates, and reference implementations for ML, agentic AI, and AI systems.
Collaborate with architecture, security, risk, and data governance teams to align platform capabilities with strict regulatory and compliance requirements.
Shape, maintain, and implement the long-term AI developer experience (DevEx) to reduce friction for engineering teams building AI applications.
Drive the adoption of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence As a Platform (MAAP) capabilities across various domains.
Design scalable cloud-native solutions and implement CI/CD pipelines alongside advanced platform automation.
Develop robust integrations between AI services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and other supporting platforms.
