iwell is seeking a Software Engineer for its Battery Controller & Infrastructure team in Utrecht. The role involves developing safety-critical C#.NET applications for battery systems and owning infrastructure end-to-end, including Linux, Ansible, Docker, and networking. The ideal candidate has solid C#.NET experience, knowledge of hardware communication protocols, and a passion for operational software.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain the C# application that controls battery systems and guards their safe operation
Design a safety module for the Battery Controller
Integrate new types of batteries into the battery portfolio
Take ownership of part of infrastructure and operations
Orchestrate Linux-based fleet with Ansible and other automation tools
Maintain self-hosted infrastructure across Hetzner, Azure, and StackHero
Design, test, and document new on-site network setups
