Gisou is seeking a Retail Design Intern to contribute to the design and execution of retail spaces, ensuring an immersive brand experience. The intern will assist the design team with visual merchandising, design presentations, and on-site installations. Candidates must be pursuing a degree in Design, Architecture, or Visual Merchandising and be available full-time for a 6-month internship starting February 2027.

What you'll do

Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative retail concepts that align with the Gisou brand identity.
Assist in creating visual merchandising displays and layouts for retail stores and pop-up locations.
Contribute to the development of design presentations, mood boards, and sketches to communicate design concepts.
Support in the selection and sourcing of materials, furniture, fixtures, and props for retail installations.
Aid in conducting research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences to enhance retail design strategies.
Assist in on-site visits and installations to ensure design concepts are executed accurately and effectively.
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and design critiques to contribute ideas and insights.
