Core Data Engineer
Flow Traders is seeking a Core Data Engineer to own the end-to-end lifecycle of fundamental data products such as Security Master, ETF Compositions, and historical market data. The role requires strong data engineering experience, Python and SQL proficiency, and the ability to build and maintain automated pipelines on a modern data platform.
What you'll do
- Craft datasets with quants: turn underspecified research questions into aligned, adjusted, point-in-time correct, documented, and reproducible datasets.
- Develop and own the end-to-end lifecycle of data products: build and maintain pipelines, develop quality checks, correct operational issues, and automate manual processing.
- Own data quality: design checks and alerts that catch problems that would hurt a strategy, and deliberately leave out noise.
