Senior Security Engineer, Corporate Security

Flexport is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own the security of its corporate environment, including endpoints, identity systems, internal networks, and SaaS estate. The role requires 5-8 years of enterprise security experience, strong endpoint security and SIEM skills, and a builder mindset focused on automation and engineering. This is a hybrid position based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

What you'll do

Own and mature endpoint security stack (EDR) across macOS and Windows fleets, writing device policy as code
Own security configuration and monitoring for critical SaaS applications through SSPM tooling
Drive identity posture: SSO coverage, phishing-resistant MFA and passkey rollout, SCIM lifecycle automation, and least-privilege access
Lead zero-trust journey
Build and tune detection rules in SIEM
Lead incident response for security events: triage, contain, remediate, and write retrospective
Run regular assessments of corporate endpoints and prioritize findings by business risk
Manage vendor and third-party security reviews
Partner with IT, Engineering, and People teams to embed security
Develop and maintain runbooks, playbooks, and internal documentation
Mentor engineers earlier in their career
Bring a point of view on how agentic AI tools and browser-based AI assistants change corporate security
