DataSnipperAmsterdamHybridFull-time1 week ago

DataSnipper is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Billing & Monetization team in Amsterdam. The role focuses on building metering, billing, licensing, and entitlements systems for agentic AI products, requiring strong backend engineering (ideally Python) and financial correctness expertise.

What you'll do

Build real-time usage metering and credit consumption for agentic products
Design pricing and rating logic supporting seats, usage, credits and enterprise contract terms
Integrate with billing, payment and finance systems (e.g. Stripe, CRM and ERP) and keep them reconciled
Build the entitlements service enforced across the Excel add-in and Alwin
Own the onboarding flow end-to-end: sign-up, trials, provisioning, SSO and SCIM, and first-run experience
Instrument activation and conversion and work with Product and Design to remove friction
Build systems where correctness is non-negotiable: idempotent, auditable, observable and secure
Own systems end-to-end from design to production in Python stack on Azure through to web and add-in front ends
Influence across functions: partner with Product, Finance, Sales and Customer Success
Raise the bar through code reviews, mentorship and clear, balanced feedback
