Coolblue is looking for an experienced TypeScript Backend Developer to optimize key parts of its website and build microservices in a close-knit, multicultural agile team. The role requires at least 5 years of TypeScript experience, AWS cloud work, and living in the Netherlands.

What you'll do

Optimizing crucial parts of the website
Designing and maintaining microservices in TypeScript
Improving internal tools for colleagues
Brainstorming with Customer Journey Specialists and UX/UI Designers
Reviewing pull requests and performing code reviews
Writing efficient and elegant TypeScript code
Writing automated tests such as Unit, Integration and End-to-End tests
Working with AWS services like Lambda, SNS + SQS, DynamoDB, S3 and CloudFront
Solving problems using SOLID principles and design patterns
Building microservices that work together seamlessly
Automating recurring tasks and integrating them into CI/CD systems
