Bitvavo is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join its Data Platform team in Amsterdam. The role focuses on building a self-service data platform, scalable data infrastructure, and AI-assisted tooling, requiring strong data engineering, Infrastructure as Code, and container orchestration experience.

What you'll do

Build and evolve a self-service Data Platform that enables teams to easily and reliably ship data pipelines, ML and AI products.
Design scalable infrastructure for data ingestion, processing, and consumption, covering batch, real-time analytics, agents, dashboards and reporting.
Empower the organization with AI-assisted tools and automation to accelerate development, reduce toil, and improve reliability across the stack.
Own and maintain secure, compliant data infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, with a strong bias toward automation over manual process.
Continuously extend the platform to support emerging use cases in machine learning and generative AI, keeping pace with how teams want to use data.
Mentor teammates by sharing technical knowledge, providing constructive feedback, and raising the bar on engineering excellence.
