Cyber Security Engineer
OT Cyber Security Engineer needed to protect industrial networks and control systems for an energy operator in Alkmaar, Netherlands. Combines practical engineering with risk assessment and cybersecurity governance, requiring approximately 5–10 years of OT cybersecurity experience and residence in the Netherlands.
What you'll do
- Support network segmentation, industrial firewall configurations, secure remote access, privileged access management and intrusion detection
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments, review proposed system changes and define security requirements for projects and modifications
- Evaluate vendor advisories, coordinate remediation and identify appropriate protections when immediate patching is not possible
