ASM seeks a Senior AI Systems & Applications Engineer to develop secure, scalable AI applications for semiconductor R&D. The role involves building AI-enabled workflows, backend services, and deploying production AI systems in a highly controlled environment. Requires 6+ years of experience and strong software engineering skills.

What you'll do

Build and enhance AI-enabled workflow automation and decision-support applications for technical users.
Design and deploy workflows and secure model orchestration.
Ground AI systems in data schemas, constraints and feedback loops.
Develop scalable backend services, APIs (batched and events processing), data pipelines, and deployment patterns for production AI applications.
Apply secure software patterns for IP-sensitive environments, including controlled access, auditability, data minimization and policy-aware retrieval.
