Data Engineer Detecting Financial Crime
ABN AMRO is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Transaction Monitoring domain in Amsterdam. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing transaction monitoring platforms, ensuring reliable data flows, and optimizing detection scenarios. Requires at least 5 years of data engineering experience with PySpark, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
What you'll do
- Ensure Transaction Monitoring systems and applications effectively identify, assess, and generate alerts for potentially suspicious transactions and financial crime risks
- Work closely with Compliance, Operations, Data, and Technology teams to continuously improve monitoring capabilities and detection effectiveness
- Maintain and enhance platforms that support the bank’s financial crime detection processes
