Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the SlashHash Platform, including our website, applications, recruiter dashboards, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Platform") by employers, recruiters, staffing agencies, and hiring organizations ("Employer", "Recruiter", "you", "your").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. About Us

SlashHash B.V. ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in the Netherlands under KVK number 97824216.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an Employer account or using the Platform, you confirm that:

  • You are legally authorized to represent the organization using the Platform.
  • You agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and your organization.
  • You will comply with all applicable employment, recruitment, anti-discrimination, privacy, and data protection laws.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using the Platform immediately.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Eligibility & Business Verification

To use the Platform as an Employer:

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must represent a legitimate business, organization, or recruitment agency.
  • We may request verification documents, including company registration, identity verification, or proof of authorization.
  • We reserve the right to reject or suspend accounts that cannot be verified.

4. Employer Accounts & Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities performed through your account.
  • You must ensure all information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Sharing accounts between unauthorized users is prohibited.
  • You are responsible for securing your own devices, systems, and internet connections.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that appear compromised or used fraudulently.

5. Job Listings & Employer Content

You may upload job postings, company information, messages, branding materials, and other content ("Employer Content").

By submitting Employer Content, you confirm that:

  • You own or have rights to the content.
  • The content is lawful, accurate, and non-misleading.
  • Job listings represent genuine employment opportunities.
  • Compensation, requirements, and employment conditions are accurately described.
  • Listings comply with applicable labor and anti-discrimination laws.

You grant SlashHash B.V. a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, process, and distribute Employer Content for operation of the Platform.

We reserve the right to remove or modify content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

6. Candidate Data & Privacy

Candidate profiles, CVs, application materials, and related information ("Candidate Data") are provided solely for legitimate recruitment purposes.

You must:

  • Use Candidate Data only for evaluating candidates for employment opportunities.
  • Handle all personal data in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR where applicable.
  • Maintain appropriate technical and organizational security measures.
  • Not sell, redistribute, scrape, harvest, or commercially exploit Candidate Data.
  • Not contact candidates for unrelated marketing or non-recruitment purposes.

Unauthorized use of Candidate Data may result in immediate termination and legal action.

7. AI Features & Recommendations

The Platform may provide AI-powered recommendations, candidate matching, screening assistance, messaging suggestions, or analytics.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated outputs are informational tools only.
  • Hiring decisions remain solely your responsibility.
  • We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, fairness, or suitability of AI-generated recommendations.
  • You must independently evaluate candidates and comply with employment laws.

SlashHash B.V. is not liable for hiring decisions made using AI-assisted features.

8. Messaging & Communications

The Platform may allow communication between Employers and Candidates.

You agree that you will not:

  • Send spam, phishing attempts, or deceptive communications.
  • Harass, discriminate against, or abuse candidates.
  • Request sensitive personal information unrelated to recruitment.
  • Circumvent Platform safeguards or monitoring systems.

We may monitor communications for security, fraud prevention, compliance, and abuse detection purposes, where permitted by law.

9. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  • Introduce malware, viruses, bots, or malicious scripts.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, databases, or accounts.
  • Scrape, crawl, copy, or extract Platform data without written permission.
  • Resell or redistribute Platform data or services.
  • Use automated systems to harvest candidate information.
  • Post fake jobs, scams, pyramid schemes, or misleading opportunities.
  • Engage in discriminatory or unlawful hiring practices.
  • Reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the Platform.

Violation may result in account suspension, permanent bans, reporting to authorities, and legal action.

10. Fees & Paid Services

Certain Platform features may require payment or subscription plans.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Fees are non-refundable.
  • You are responsible for applicable taxes.
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of services.
  • We may modify pricing with reasonable notice.

Additional commercial agreements may apply to enterprise customers.

11. Intellectual Property

All Platform software, technology, trademarks, branding, interfaces, and content are owned or licensed by SlashHash B.V.

Except as explicitly permitted:

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce Platform materials.
  • You may not use our branding without written consent.

12. Confidentiality

You agree to keep confidential any non-public information obtained through the Platform, including:

  • Candidate information
  • Business operations
  • Product features
  • Internal communications
  • Technical documentation

This obligation survives termination of your account.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available."
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • SlashHash B.V. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-related damages.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to the Platform during the previous 12 months.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under Dutch law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SlashHash B.V., its directors, employees, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and costs arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Violations of these Terms
  • Violations of applicable laws
  • Employer Content or hiring practices

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Fraudulent or unlawful activity is suspected
  • Your account creates legal, security, or reputational risk

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time.

Termination does not remove obligations that survive by nature, including confidentiality, payment obligations, and liability limitations.

16. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Cyberattacks
  • Internet outages
  • Natural disasters
  • Government actions
  • Labor disputes
  • Infrastructure failures

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts of the Netherlands.

18. Privacy & Cookies

Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which describe how data is collected, processed, stored, encrypted, and protected.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and accept those policies.
