Newly created role to establish and lead capability development in Product & Technology at Xero, partnering with engineering, product, design, security, and data science teams. The role focuses on building frameworks, upskilling programmes, and internal mobility pathways to help 2,600+ P&T professionals grow faster and accelerate their careers. Ideal for someone with experience in capability programmes, technical understanding, and a data-driven approach to learning outcomes.

What you'll do

Establish and lead capability development in Product & Technology
Partner with leaders to architect frameworks for skill evolution
Build a high-performance capability culture aligned with company strategy
Focus on measurable outcomes like delivery velocity, retention, internal mobility, and time-to-productivity
Collaborate with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and design solutions
Build the Capability Framework for Product & Technology
Design upskilling programmes around AI/ML and emerging technologies
Create internal mobility pathways
Establish success metrics beyond completion rates
