Westpac is seeking an Executive Manager, Group Audit – Data & AI Risk to lead independent assurance across data and AI risk domains within the Technology, Data, Digital and AI Risk team. The role involves shaping audit strategy, influencing executive and board-level decisions, and requires deep expertise in data governance, AI governance, model risk, and machine learning. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane with hybrid working arrangements.
What you'll do
- Lead independent assurance across data and AI risk portfolios
- Provide oversight and assurance across data governance, data quality, data lineage, metadata management, AI governance, responsible AI, machine learning, generative AI, model risk management, and AI-enabled decisioning
- Shape audit strategy and coverage across the portfolio
