Snowflake is seeking a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer for Migration Services to lead scoping, architecture and technical direction as FDE teams embed with customers to modernise their data and application ecosystems on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. The role combines migration leadership, direct software development, customer enablement and platform implementation, requiring strong programming, AI/ML and data platform expertise.

What you'll do

Set the architecture and technical direction across multiple FDE teams for customer migrations to Snowflake
Contribute directly to Snowflake's product by building prototypes, contributing to feature development and fixing problems
Provide expert technical guidance, mentoring and training to customer teams on using Snowflake effectively
Design scalable data pipelines and modern data architectures on Snowflake
Analyse and optimise data models, queries and processing workflows for performance, efficiency and cost
Evaluate, recommend and implement modern data integration tools and techniques
Identify and resolve technical challenges, performance bottlenecks and operational issues
