Salesforce is seeking a Specialist Solution Engineer for Data & Analytics in Sydney to act as subject matter expert for Tableau products and CRM Analytics. The role partners with Account Executives to drive analytics sales across ANZ, running discovery sessions, demos, and workshops, and requires 3+ years in technical pre-sales, consulting, customer success, analytics or data roles plus hands-on BI experience.

What you'll do

Partner with Account Executives to understand customer goals and manage multiple engagements across ANZ
Build trusted relationships with business leaders, analysts, data architects and data engineers
Run discovery sessions and workshops, build prototypes and customised demos
Show how customers can define metrics and business rules once and reuse them everywhere
Demonstrate Tableau Agent and natural-language analytics in Tableau Studio
Show how Tableau MCP connects trusted data to assistants such as Slack, Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot
Build generative AI and governed semantics into customer architectures
Contribute technical responses to RFPs, RFIs and RFTs
Share knowledge with Solution Engineering and adjacent teams
Feed customer insights back to Product
Represent Tableau at customer events and Tableau User Groups
