Salesforce is seeking a customer-facing Information Security & Compliance Manager within its Global Office of the CISO to serve as the technical voice of Salesforce Security in Australia. The role involves designing secure Salesforce architectures, configuring and demonstrating security controls, and advising enterprise, financial services, critical infrastructure and public-sector customers. Requires 8–13 years of security architecture or engineering experience with deep hands-on expertise in identity, data protection, cloud security and compliance frameworks.

What you'll do

Lead platform security and security architecture discussions with enterprise architects and security engineering teams
Design and document secure reference architectures for identity, data protection, network connectivity, integration security, logging and monitoring, resilience, and AI/agent security
Map customer security requirements and regulatory obligations to platform controls, configurations and shared-responsibility boundaries
Identify gaps in customer security posture and recommend prioritised roadmaps
Configure, demonstrate and build proofs-of-concept for Salesforce security capabilities
Build reusable demo orgs, configuration playbooks, security baselines and hardening guides
Review customer org configurations against security expectations and provide remediation guidance
Act as technical security SME on strategic opportunities, discovery sessions and technical validation
Serve as escalation point for complex questionnaires, tender/RFP responses and regulated-customer due diligence
Train Solution Engineers, Technical Architects and Professional Services on secure design patterns
Consolidate customer technical requirements and feed them into security product roadmap
Contribute to technical collateral such as reference architectures, whitepapers, best-practice guides, blogs and conference sessions
Support Trust & Security Advisors and Government Affairs with technical input on industry and government consultations
