Quantium, a global leader in data science and AI, is seeking a Lead Data Scientist for AI Technical Solutions to lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI solutions for clients. The role combines deep technical expertise in AI and machine learning with people leadership, managing teams of data scientists to build innovative generative AI applications. Requires 7+ years of experience in data science, AI, and machine learning, with strong Python skills and experience with LLM frameworks.

What you'll do

Architect and lead the delivery of complex generative AI applications, from design through to production deployment
Set technical standards and champion engineering best practices across the team
Manage and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning
Oversee end-to-end AI solution delivery, balancing technical excellence with commercial pragmatism
Ensure robust documentation for client self-sufficiency
Contribute to pre-sales activities including technical scoping, proposal development, and client presentations
Help shape the direction of the AI Solutions team, identifying opportunities to develop reusable components and accelerators
