Pepperstone is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer - Platform Engineering to provide senior technical leadership and hands-on engineering across client-facing products. Reporting to the CTO, the role involves shaping multi-year architecture across AI, cloud, networking, identity and data, while remaining deeply hands-on with production code and infrastructure as code. Requires extensive experience in large-scale distributed systems and proven Staff or Principal-level impact.
What you'll do
- Shape platform technical direction: define multi-year architecture across AI, cloud, networking, identity and data
- Stay hands-on with toughest engineering challenges: write production code and infrastructure as code, prototype new approaches
- Lead and shape AI-native engineering: design core AI platform, establish patterns, workflows and guardrails
