Nuix is seeking a Principal AI Enablement Builder to embed within priority business functions and deliver production-grade AI solutions. This hands-on engineering role requires at least five years of software engineering or applied AI experience, with Python as the primary language, and strong business process acumen. The position is based in Sydney with a hybrid arrangement requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.

What you'll do

Embed within assigned business functions for rotation periods of three to six months, diagnosing high-value AI opportunities and converting them into production solutions.
Conduct structured discovery with functional stakeholders, map current-state workflows, and scope use cases tied directly to each function's AI enablement targets.
Design, build and deploy end-to-end AI workflows, automations and agentic systems that operate in Nuix's live internal environment.
Own the full delivery lifecycle for each use case, from initial scoping through production deployment, monitoring and iteration.
Write evaluation harnesses, instrument observability, debug production failures and iterate based on measured outcomes.
Maintain POC discipline, rapidly validating feasibility against real internal data before committing to full build.
Synthesise patterns from each embedded rotation and contribute structured findings to Nuix's internal AI knowledge base and programme roadmap.
Act as a credible technical peer to function leads and the broader Champion network of AI Advocates and Data Curators.
Support global AI Innovation Days, present outcomes to functional ELT stakeholders and contribute to the mid-rotation review process.
