James Hardie Industries is seeking a full-time Research Engineer to join its R&D team in Rosehill, NSW. The role involves end-to-end delivery of technical tasks, from concept to implementation, with a salary range of $95,000-$105,000 + super. Requires a degree in Engineering and preferably 3+ years of relevant experience.

What you'll do

Support the delivery of all technical tasks for a project from concept to implementation and handover to manufacturing.
Participate in planning, preparing, and running trials of new and existing equipment, technologies and products.
Preparation and testing of samples including analysis, reporting and presentation of data.
Regular update and presentation of projects to shape and get agreeance on plan, direction and technical deliverables.
Collaborate effectively with manufacturing team, vendors and suppliers to deliver the best solution to the business.
Coordinate the build of physical prototypes, draft test plans, and run empirical tests to prove out designs.
Serve as the technical contact for suppliers, troubleshooting manufacturing defects or assembly line issues.
Ensure that James Hardie’s operations are in line with Work Health and Safety Requirements at all times.
