HappyRobot is hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to be the first technical hire in Australia, working directly with the Country General Manager to define and scale operations locally. The role combines full-stack engineering (React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python) with customer-facing AI/ML deployment, requiring strong communication skills and a founder mindset.

What you'll do

Work closely with customers from onboarding to ongoing usage, helping them integrate and optimize AI solutions
Build new features, MVPs, and scalable solutions that directly impact customer outcomes
Utilize React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python to develop robust applications and tools
Design, implement, and iterate on AI/ML solutions, including LLM prompting, tuning of voices, and transcribers
Manage APIs and integrations with third-party systems
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver tailored solutions
Continuously iterate and improve AI solutions based on customer feedback
Prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
