Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead to lead its Global Salesforce team across Sales, Service and Experience Cloud. The role combines hands-on Apex and Lightning Web Components development with architecture, release governance and coaching a global team of developers and admins. Requires 6+ years of Salesforce development including at least 2 years leading a team, plus Platform Developer II certification.

What you'll do

Lead, mentor and develop the Global Salesforce technical team
Set and enforce technical standards, coding conventions and definition-of-done
Run code reviews, pair programming and architecture reviews
Make and own technical decisions on complex or contested problems
Contribute to the Salesforce technical roadmap and advise product on feasibility, sequencing and risk
Lead solution design for Sales, Service and Experience Cloud
Oversee data integration and migration, ensuring security compliance and data integrity
Lead testing strategy and automated testing, and own release readiness and post-deployment activities
Lead smooth handovers into support and provide technical leadership on post-deployment issues
Own release management: deployment schedule, environments, version control and release governance
Drive adoption of CI/CD, branching strategies and better tooling and methods
Identify and resolve inefficiencies, reduce technical debt and protect long-term platform sustainability
Introduce AI-assisted development to the team starting with a practical, low-risk pilot
Define the team's first AI usage guardrails with security and governance partners
Coach the team on using AI well and reviewing AI output
Measure and report the impact of AI-assisted development to the Platform Owner
Build and configure solutions with Apex, Flow, Lightning Web Components and Lightning App Builder
