First Focus is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Consultant to help Australian manufacturers navigate AI, cybersecurity, managed IT and cloud transformation. The role requires at least five years' experience in consultative B2B sales, solution consulting or technology consulting with sustained exposure to the manufacturing industry, and involves leading commercial conversations from qualification to close.

What you'll do

Lead the commercial conversation from qualification through to proposal and close
Understand how manufacturing businesses operate and where technology creates friction
Work closely with technical specialists, solution architects and delivery teams
Develop a strong understanding of First Focus's AI, cybersecurity, cloud and managed services offerings
Confidently lead technical and commercial conversations
Translate services into outcomes that resonate with business owners, operations leaders and manufacturing executives
Write clear, commercially credible proposals that explain the business case for change
Ensure smooth handovers into implementation
Help manufacturers move beyond AI curiosity into practical, secure and commercially sensible adoption
