EY is seeking a Data Protection Manager to support the implementation and operation of its Data Protection Program across Oceania. The role provides practical, risk-based data protection advice, supports data incident response, and administers the Data Loss Prevention program. Requires 5+ years of experience in technology risk, data privacy, or data protection.
What you'll do
- Provide practical, risk-based data protection advice and respond to privacy and data protection queries across Service Lines, Functions and project teams, including advice relating to business initiatives, AI use and data-handling activities.
- Support the response to data incidents, including triage, risk assessment, stakeholder coordination and escalation, while identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and processes.
- Support the implementation and ongoing administration of EY’s Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Program and deliver key data-risk projects, including client-specific initiatives, controls, resources and training.
