EY is seeking Consultants and Senior Consultants for its General Insurance actuarial consulting team in Sydney, working with general insurers, health insurers, and government agencies on complex business challenges. The role requires 1 to 4 years of actuarial experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and proficiency in Excel and analytical or programming tools such as SAS, R, or Python.

What you'll do

Develop and implement actuarial models and methodologies and critically analyse and interpret data to uncover insights for informed decision-making.
Develop your skills across a variety of projects from business transformation, capital and risk management, pricing, and product innovation to liability valuation and appointed actuary work.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory and legislative changes, and actively contribute to business thought leadership.
Champion continuous improvement and shape the next generation of processes, tools, and analytical approaches.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the broader Financial Services practice, including strategy, transactions, tax, technology and risk professionals.
