EY is seeking an AI Engineer - Senior Consultant to design, build and deploy practical AI-enabled applications for clients, with Python and Microsoft Azure at the core. This hands-on engineering role sits within the innovation team of the Digital Assurance practice and involves moving AI opportunities from discovery through prototyping into secure, scalable production delivery. The position is hybrid and can be performed from any EY office across Australia.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test and deploy AI-enabled applications using Python and Microsoft Azure, including machine learning, generative AI and agentic AI solutions.
- Translate business requirements and discovery findings into practical technical designs, prototypes and secure, production-ready solutions.
- Build scalable data, training and inference pipelines, applying source control, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring and appropriate software engineering, security and operational practices.
- Take ownership of defined technical workstreams and collaborate with senior technical, risk, product and engagement leaders.
