Epicor is seeking a Senior Product Developer to build and run a modern FP&A platform used by finance teams for planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making. This hands-on full-stack role has strong back-end ownership, requiring 8+ years of commercial development experience with Kotlin, modern Java, and the Spring ecosystem, plus a solid finance/accounting foundation. The role is hybrid in Melbourne and acts as an engineering anchor for APAC.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and sustain full-stack features spanning front-end, back-end, and microservices
Own production issues through to root cause across apps, queues, databases, and infrastructure
Trace a figure on a report back to its source and explain it to a customer in their own language
Communicate clearly across distributed teams through async updates, tickets, documentation, runbooks, and technical discussions
Contribute to AI agents and guardrails for trustworthy financial data, including agent design, response streaming, numeric faithfulness, permission scope, and human-in-the-loop confirmation before data changes
Uphold and help shape engineering standards, architecture, and collaboration practices
