Dreamerlabs is seeking a Senior AI Engineer (Product) to own end-to-end model development for AI-powered entertainment products, from data and training to deployment on self-hosted GPUs. The role requires strong product judgement, end-to-end ownership, and rigour, with a focus on fine-tuning and serving chat, image, video, and voice models at scale. Based in North Sydney with a hybrid work model.

What you'll do

Own model development for a product area end to end
Fine-tune chat models on real conversation data, build evals and roll out
Evaluate new image and video models and optimize for cost, speed and quality
Work out feasibility of real-time AI experiences and trade-offs between quality, latency and cost
Build detection models across billions of messages using models to label data
Measure model performance and continuously improve
Be on call for shipped models and accountable for quality, latency and cost
