Deloitte Legal is seeking an experienced IP, Data & Technology Lawyer (Associate) to join its intangibles, data and technology team in the Brisbane office. The role involves advising on intellectual property, technology, data, digital transformation, commercialisation and AI governance matters for major organisations and government clients. Requires at least 4 years post admission experience and a Queensland Practising Certificate.

What you'll do

Advise on intellectual property, technology, data, digital transformation, commercialisation and innovation matters
Coordinate end-to-end engagement delivery
Manage client interactions
Coordinate work performed by team members
Provide legal services in an innovative and technology enabled way
Work with other Deloitte teams locally and globally including Tax, Strategy, Risk and Transactions
Draft, negotiate and advise on IP and technology contracts
Take an active leadership role on engagements and with key clients
Instruct, mentor and train team members
