AustralianSuper is hiring AI Software Engineers at Mid and Senior levels for its AI & Automation team in Melbourne. The role involves building production-grade enterprise AI and agentic solutions using Python, .NET/C#, and Azure AI services, requiring strong commercial software engineering experience and Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency.

What you'll do

Design, build, test and productionise enterprise-grade AI and agentic solutions using Python, .NET/C# and Azure.
Develop AI agents, RAG capabilities, orchestration workflows, APIs and integrations with enterprise systems.
Engineer solutions for production, including automated testing, CI/CD, observability, security, resilience and ongoing support.
Partner across product, architecture, cyber security, data, platforms and business teams to turn complex problems into scalable solutions.
Apply responsible AI, privacy, security and governance principles throughout the engineering lifecycle.
For Senior opportunities, own significant technical outcomes and provide engineering guidance, coaching and mentoring.
