Alignerr seeks experienced data scientists to stress-test cutting-edge AI models by designing advanced data science challenges, authoring gold-standard solutions, and auditing AI-generated code and analysis. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract role requiring a Master's or PhD in a quantitative field and deep expertise in machine learning, statistics, and data engineering.

What you'll do

Design advanced data science challenges across domains like hyperparameter optimization, Bayesian inference, cross-validation strategies, and dimensionality reduction
Author ground-truth solutions including Python/R scripts, SQL queries, and mathematical derivations
Audit AI-generated code and analysis using libraries like Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow
Identify and document reasoning failures such as data leakage, overfitting, improper handling of imbalanced datasets, or flawed statistical conclusions
Provide structured feedback to improve model behavior
Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments
