Built from 57,486 public job descriptions across 44 roles, published from March to September 2026 and deduplicated so that a job listed on several boards or by several agencies counts once. A role counts as asking for coding when any coding skill (a programming language, an ML framework, building on LLM APIs, MLOps, infrastructure as code or scripting) appears in more than 15% of its postings. Using AI tools, analysing data in a BI tool or automating a CRM does not count as coding. The rule reads each role's ten most requested skills; in every role the tenth is asked for in at most 15% of postings, so a coding skill outside the ten cannot cross the line.
