Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own the People Technology API strategy, promoting an API-first architecture across the HR technology landscape.
  • •Architect reusable APIs that simplify integration between Workday and enterprise platforms.
  • •Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the Workday platform across the People Technology landscape.
  • •Define architecture standards, design principles and technical governance for Workday implementations and enhancements.
  • •Lead technical solution design for complex business initiatives and transformation programmes.
  • •Partner with HR, Technology and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions.
  • •Establish integration patterns supporting real-time, event-driven and batch-based data exchange.
  • •Design secure, resilient and scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • •Develop standards for API lifecycle management, governance, versioning, monitoring and security.
  • •Drive the adoption of reusable integration assets and enterprise integration best practices.
  • •Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, privacy and compliance requirements.
  • •Conduct architecture reviews and technical assurance activities.
  • •Maintain technology roadmaps for the People Technology platform.
  • •Produce high-quality architecture documentation, solution designs and integration specifications.
  • •Influence senior stakeholders on technology direction and investment decisions.
  • •Collaborate with vendors, implementation partners and product teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • •Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary delivery teams.
  • •Provide hands-on technical leadership across the Workday ecosystem, including solution design, development and optimisation of integrations.
  • •Lead the design, development and support of complex inbound, outbound and event-driven integrations.
  • •Drive innovation by leveraging modern Workday capabilities including Workday Extend, Workday Orchestrate, Workday AI, Self-Service Agents and emerging Agentic AI capabilities.
  • •Design, develop and govern enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • •Lead the development of enterprise APIs and integration patterns.
  • •Establish integration standards, API governance, monitoring and operational best practices.
  • •Mentor engineering teams to deliver high-quality, resilient integration solutions.
