FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How discovery works, what the agents decide and what they do not, what the beta includes, and how your data is handled.

Discovery

How does searching in a sentence work?

You describe what you are after the way you would brief an agency: niche, platform, country, reach, the kind of audience you want. There is no filter panel to fill in. The search reads the description and returns creators that match it, ranked, with the numbers attached rather than a keyword list you still have to check by hand.

Does it search creators or content?

Both, from the same box. Ask for people and you get a shortlist of creators. Ask what an audience responded to last month and you get the posts themselves. It is semantic search in both directions, so "quiet luxury but for gym wear" returns something useful even though nobody tags a post that way.

Why view rates instead of follower counts?

A follower count tells you how many people could see a post. It does not tell you whether any of them watch. We report average views, likes and comments against audience size, so you can compare a 40k creator who gets watched against a 400k creator who does not, before you spend the budget.

Which platforms do you cover?

TikTok and Instagram today. Those are where the micro-creator economy actually sits, and we would rather cover two properly than four thinly.

Can I see who the audience is, not just how big it is?

Yes. Age range, location and category per creator. That is usually the difference between reaching 280,000 people and reaching 280,000 of the right people.

Managing creators

What is a list?

A named set of creators you save as you search, and keep adding to across sessions. Lists are where a campaign starts: you build one, work it, and hand it to the agents when you are ready.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, as CSV, with the names, handles and rates attached. There is no lock-in. If you would rather run the campaign in your own tools, export it and go.

What do the agents actually do?

They write and send the first message to each creator on a list, in your tone rather than a template, follow up with the ones who go quiet, and negotiate the fee. You get the terms to approve rather than the forty emails it took to reach them.

How do I stop an agent agreeing to something I do not want?

You set a budget ceiling when you start, and it is enforced in code rather than in the prompt. Nothing is agreed above it. There is also a review mode where nothing sends until you have read it, which is where we suggest you start.

Will creators know they are talking to an agent?

We are not in the business of pretending otherwise, and outreach that hides it tends to get found out and damage the brand doing it. How this is disclosed is one of the things we want beta feedback on.

Content and campaigns

What does Content Studio generate?

Images, video, captions and hashtags from one brief. It will also turn stills you already have into video. The point is that a post goes out complete rather than half-finished with a caption still to write.

Is the generated content based on anything real?

It is shaped by the audience and brand you give it, and grounded in campaign and engagement data from comparable creators, so it starts from formats that have already worked rather than a generic prompt. Predicted performance is an estimate, not a promise.

What does campaign tracking show me?

What was agreed against what actually shipped: who committed to what, who posted, who is late, and what the posts did once they were live. Per creator, without a spreadsheet.

How does the full funnel planner decide the week?

It reads last week: which posts got watched, which got skipped, what drove replies. That becomes next week’s plan, with exact posts, platforms and timing, plus the comment and engagement tasks. It runs on Monday without being asked, and it produces a draft your team can reassign or edit, not a schedule that publishes itself.

Analytics

How is this different from a dashboard?

You ask the question instead of building the view. "How did our creator posts do against the fitness niche last quarter" returns the chart and the number inside the answer. Nothing to configure first and nothing to export.

What am I being compared against?

Your niche, rather than a platform-wide average that flatters everybody. You can also compare creators against their own previous performance, which is usually the more honest measure of whether a campaign worked.

Beta and access

What is in the beta?

Discovery and creator management are the furthest along. The agents, campaign tracking, analytics and the planner are in build. The signup form asks which one you would use first, and that answer genuinely decides what we finish next.

What does it cost?

Pricing is not set yet, and we would rather say that than publish a number we change. Beta participants will be told what it costs before anything is charged. Mail support@slashhash.ai if you need something firmer for a budget conversation.

When do I hear back?

We contact people when the piece they picked is ready to try. If it is one of the parts that already works, that tends to be sooner than people expect.

Account and data

What happens to the email I give you?

It is used to contact you about the beta and to weight what we build next. It is not a newsletter signup and we do not sell it.

Where does the creator data come from?

Public profile and post data from the platforms we cover, plus the engagement figures we derive from it. We do not have access to a creator’s private analytics.

How do I delete my data?

Mail support@slashhash.ai and we will remove it. For the specifics on retention and processing, ask us directly rather than relying on a summary here.

Where do I get help?

support@slashhash.ai. A real person reads it.
